Hello, hello, hello, John Mason. How is everybody? Hope you're well. Hope you're getting through this situation with this Congress. And the Republicans going not just to the right but into the sewer. In spite of that, I hope you're doing well. Well, they call Biden and McCarthy cobble together a death ceiling deal, which works well for Biden because in more death ceiling discussions will be pushed back to 2025. Hopefully another Democrat, a Democrat, a Democrat, would uh go along, uh, would continue uh to take things from there to hopefully eliminate the whole debt ceiling idea altogether under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States. And there's some bad things in the deal, like proposed cuts in in nutritional programs like SNAP and work requirements for people for elderly people who live live in the squeaking by on a pension and social security and whatever they else they got. Yeah, so we're we the low-income people and the working people are the traditional scapegoats in in the economy. We always get it in the net. We're always the last to be considered. And there was even this talk about student canceling the moratorium on student loan payments. That would be terrible. I say eliminate student loans debt altogether. You know, in so many of these developing countries, like in Latin America, there's always traditionally this, there was traditionally this call for taking land from uh unused portions of land from the big landowners and parceling it out to the small peasant farmers who who could do with it, who could do with that land to grow crops and sell it, sell them on the market. It's equivalent to that. But the Republicans just want to push us low-income people, actually, they want to punish us, for daring to attain college, for daring to get an education, for daring to empower ourselves, for daring to enter the middle class. That's where we the people come in, Casenkins. I encourage everyone to learn all the good and the bad about the the debt ceiling deal. And the bad parts get on our elected officials, our senators, our congresspeople, and have them take take away the those bad parts about it, like the student loan, bus student loans and nutritional programs. We need that. You see, some of us uh don't have wealthy families that they can finagle their kids into uh upscale universities where they don't belong simply because the the daddy has uh his alumnus and can write up a big fat donation to the university. That was a case of Jared Kushner. The only way he got into Harvard was that his father, Charlie Cushner, another sleaze bag real estate developer like Trump, donated donated $2.5 million to Harvard. And also the MAGA Republicans focused around the uh free for so-called Freedom Caucus. So-called Freedom Caucus. Excuse me, so I just hate something. They they are just they hate McCarthy because he cut any kind of a deal with Biden. Where they it seems like they didn't they don't care that the uh destiny would be breached and the markets would crash and the economy would sink into a black hole. They don't care. They just want to score points against Biden. And Chip Roy, uh one of Texas, one of the Congress creeps, uh part of the so-called Freedom Caucus, is calling for uh calling for McCarthy's removal as as speaker. Well, there you have it. McCarthy sold his soul for them to the MAGA devil, giving up more and more pieces of himself to the Magas. So he have the title of Speaker. But what's it got him? What's his uh selling out the American people gotten him? He he has to answer to a crew of maniacs and lunatics who instead of seriously dealing with the problems of uh the country, like unemployment and work working conditions and occupational safety and health and the economy, want to throw temper tantrums about uh black mermaids and and rainbows on t-shirts and drag queens uh tea uh reading the kids in the library. And those are what we got hyped up about. They get that's what they get hyped up about. These people have no business being in in government. Any kind of government. Not not fit to be dogcatcher. So there'll be other elections and we will continue to vote. That's why I urge you get out there and vote whenever there's an election. Vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote. And peaceful demonstrations should certainly help. Do they even do the magas even see the vast arrays of people demonstrating against them for their rights? Isn't it just Do they understand that history is going against them? Do they understand that the American people aren't with them on this? I don't think so. Even more reason to vote them all out. Oh, by the way, later in the month from uh late very late in June to July 2nd, the Astroturf group, Moms for Liberty, so-called, the the organization throwing uh specialized in throwing tantrums at at school boards, they don't in school districts they don't they they don't reside in, throwing tantrums about intelligent discussions about sex, intelligent discussions about race. Like particularly in Florida, one person complains about a book and it is banned from every school in the school district. But I digress. The organization is meeting late late in June and early in Jan July at the Marriott Hotel on 12th N Market Streets. I say we let them know they're not welcome here in Philly that we don't play that, that we're not scared of them. Oh, another reminder. June is gay pride month. I'm not gay myself, but I support my gay fellow Americans. And I urge you to let them know that they got you got their back. Let them know that you're an ally. Let them know that you stand with them as they're being insulted and assaulted. Anyone is gay or trans or bi or whatever. As a cisgender heterosexual male, I know I'm I am, but I urge you. Bust out of the closet with guns blazing. Be as gay as old gid out. Okay. That's my rant for the day. More is to come. Try shutting me up, this Ronde shithead.
