Hello, hello, hello, John Mason. How is everybody? Interesting turn of events this week. Kevin McCarthy is no longer Speaker of the House due to his uh his argument with Matt Gates. And I remember in January when he uh was trying to get the votes together 15 times to be elected speaker, and he had to make concession after concession after concession to the so-called Freedom Caucus to get elected speaker, including just have permit one uh member to make a motion to vacate the ha the chair. And so on the so long as he can so he can hang on to his seat, which obviously he didn't deserve. McCarthy talked like a talk to MAGA talk, uh accusing accusing Biden of whatever the the Freedom Caucus said to accuse him of and and going along with with the MAGA cock MAGA's uh attempt to destroy the the the economy to to to not uh uh pass uh the federal's uh federal budget uh again no matter what they demanded, no matter how often they conceded, no matter how how much he conceded, it was never enough. Then at a burst of statesmanship, uh McCarthy goes to the Democratic uh caucus, asks for their help to vote to pass this stop cap budget, and they passed it for the good of the country. And that aroused the ire of of the MAGAs and Gates and all them. I mean it is obvious that the MAGAs are in Congress are are not about governing or protect protecting the people or functioning the government so it works for all Americans. No, no, no. They want to tear the damn thing down. And so so that their guy, whoever it is, Trump or whoever, can get in. Blame the Democrats and get their guy in the White House. And still looks like the Donald Trump. But is astonishing. No matter how often he's uh he's indicted, no matter how whatever he's accused of, no matter what racist stupid shit he he espouses, the Republicans are the Republican base is still willing to still loves him, still worships him, still want, still think that he's the real president. That is that is what's up with the Republican Party. And also, the total the authoritarian note, let's say fascist, let's call it what it is, fascist uh tendencies within the Republican Party are blatant and can no longer be ignored. We must uh pay attention to that and not wait for the commercial media, with all due respect. The Claremont Institute, a way to the right uh uh think tank, which came out of the Barry Goldwater campaign in 1964, put out this uh paper demanding a red Caesar, a dictator. The Republicans knew that know down know damn well that their agenda is just the opposite of what the American people want. The American people are perfectly fine with uh reproductive rights for women, they're perfectly fine with legalizing recreational marijuana, they're perfectly fine with LGBTQ rights, and that and they know damn well who the real culprit behind behind the economic down, whatever economic troubles are, is the corporate bosses who make over uh over 300% more than the average worker on the line. The workers in these institutions like you UAW, the the writers uh uh for the for the Hollywood uh movie industry, workers at workers at uh Amazon and Starbucks and Trader Joe's, and now uh Kaiser, the uh the chain of nursing homes, their workers are getting ready to are on strike. They know who the real culprit is. It's not minorities, it's not immigrants, and it's not those evil, greedy union bosses. And but the corporate types and the racists and and haters, I'm gonna say, are the Republican base. And and so there and they're like I said, their agenda, their agenda is not popular. And so to impose their agenda, agenda, they have to uh prevent prevent us uh from voting. Like with those voter ID laws, those uh laws against uh mail-in ballots, that's their agenda. Anything that keeps us from voting. Well, Cats and Kittens, let's put up a fight. Let's show them we're not weak or cowardly. Let's show them that we will vote, we will stand up for our rights. So, like I said, make a full study of all the issues, including the ones that the main street that the commercial media, with all due respect, uh, doesn't cover. And organize at our communities, at our work sites, and vote. Which reminds me, November seventh is primary elec is general election day in Pennsylvania. Tell my Pennsylvania people out there, November seventh, get out there and vote. And that's it for now. But more is to come. And now advertisements.
