I speak about standing up to anti-Semitism; the House impeachment nonsense; Guliani losing the lawsuit against the two Atlanta election workers; and trump's blatant support of the oligarchy.
Hello, hello, hello, John Mason. How is everybody? Well, Hanukkah is just about over, just a few more hours for me. And I had to I have to celebrate Hanukkah to make a statement. You know the story of Hanukkah? The story is when the Assyrian Greco the Greco-Assyrian Empire tried to impose their religion on the Jews in in Judea and prohibited the Jews from practicing our own religion. But then a crew of young men called the Maccabees, you know, their brothers, they rose up and fought for their freedom. They fought against an imperial power. Well, I don't know if I can handle uh physical combat. In fact, I know damn well I can't, but I'm not going to let the Jew haters get me down. And for all my Jewish siblings out there, don't let them get you down here either. Be as Jewish as you want in public. Rock your Jewishness. We actually have friends backing us up. If we back down to the haters, closet our Jewishness, the haters will win. And now they up and did it. The Republicans dominating the House of Representatives have formally voted to impeach our president Joseph Robinette Biden on the charges of what? They're still digging around for something to impeach him for. And this is getting ridiculous. When Trump was being impeached, they had evidence and research from the Mueller Commission. And it was discussed and voted upon. Of course, it was on party lines, and the Republicans were on the majority, but they and they couldn't bring themselves to vote for the impeachment of the glorious leader. Or vote to convict him. And I find that reprehensible. The Republican Party is not a Republican, it's no longer a party, it's the Trump of cult. The cult of cult of no the tr the tr the first church of Trump. It's all about Trump worship. And whatever Trump says is the platform of the party. In fact, you'll you might remember in 2020 that the Republican Party Convention uh did not even vote for a platform for them to run on in 2020. There's nothing but whatever Trump says. And there actually is a good chance he's going to be their candidate to run again next year. And who is Trump going to be for? A tape has surfaced of the of Trump speaking out of a fundraising party at Mar-a-Lago for this requalicious uh Republican candidate for governor of North Carolina. And he came in, he spoke to his uh audience as like oligarchs, the wealthy, and they were gonna get a tax cut. Of course, he has often talked about himself, praised himself as the champion of the little guy, champion of the working stiff, but we know where he really stands when the when he thinks the cameras are off him. When he doesn't know he's being monitored. It'd be good if we can find out what these candidates really say in in private. What do they really think of us when they're among their buddies and and these private fundraising events? As opposed to these rallies trying to get the general public. And don't get freaked out because of supposed polling saying that uh Trump's ahead, Biden's behind. Ah. If we work our asses off from now to election day in November 2024, we can and will defeat Trump and the entire Republican Party, all down the ballot. The only way the only way the Republican Party has any chance of survival, any chance of reforming, is to vote out each and every one of them. Hopefully, hopefully the serious conservatives who respect the Constitution, respect the democratic process, will come together, remove the remove the Trump element and the MAGAs, and make it a responsible, democratically oriented, right of center party. But I'm not holding my breath right. And now and now the recent news about the the two election board workers have won their case against Rudy Giuliani. They sued Giuliani for defamation for defamation of character and harassment because of Giuliani's insistence on slandering them as they were election board workers in Atlanta. Accused them of being drug dealers and passing uh USB uh thumb drives to amongst each other. Calling them they were like drug dealers playing on racial stereotypes. Well, Giuliani had his comeuppance, he had his payback. They the court found him liable for a hundred and forty-seven million of dollars to to the two women. And I don't know where he's gonna dig up the money. I mean he's bleeding money all over the place. He's been reduced to uh getting a few hundred bucks here and there on this service called Cameo, where some uh down-the-hill celebrity uh goes on, sends a video and wishes you a happy birthday or good luck on your bar misma or something. And and can he pay it? Will he pay it? Well, that's well, the main thing is he was called to account for it. It was no different from Mike Clendell, the Mike Pillow guy, accusing the Dominion voting systems of interfering with the vote, and Dominion suing him, and now his business is losing business, and he has to sell us the assets of his business. I do I mean it's not like prison time, but it it it does bring up the Schadenfreude. I mean, all these uh maniacs who want to destroy our democracy for the sake of the the guy with a piss orange hair and and bring the match and the twice impeached, three-time married, serial rapist, guy who cheats on his wives, his taxes, his business dealings, and his golf. Who had no problem mishandling a classified document, super classified documents for his Russian masters, and there are people wanting to vote him back in. My friends, don't be too freaked out when you hear about Trump uh being back and be in command. He is beatable, and we can and will beat him. And on that positive note, advertisements.
